Fibre
The department consists of Polyester Fibre Spinning Plant and Fibre after Treatment/Stretching Plant. Polyester Fibre Spinning Plant consists of melt spinning equipment. Chips are used as raw materials, it is dried to remove residual moisture, melted and passes through spinneret. On hitting air filaments solidifies and wound on package by winder.
For converting filaments into staple fibre, several sets of filaments are brought together with the help of creel. These are heated and dawn to several times their original length. Drawn tow is crimped, dried and heat-set. The tow is cut into required staple length with the help of cutter.
